This marvelous brooch is small but it's Art Deco design gives it a lot of presence, with matte black enamel against bright textured silver.

It is marked "935" indicating that it has a slightly higher silver content than sterling. Though it's not marked that it's made in Germany, it has all the characteristics of German Deco jewelry, and was most likely made there in the 1920's or 30's.
