When a poodle is made of diamonds and platinum of course it should have a ruby collar! This poodle, which can be worn as a pendant or charm, is beautifully groomed, down to its tufted tail. As a piece of jewelry it is equally beautifully made, with fine detail throughout. This piece was converted from a stick pin and dates from the 1920's or 30's when platinum ruled fine diamond jewelry.

  • Marks:

    "105" and "68" on the poodle's feet, probably the manufacturer's inventory number. The platinum has been confirmed by acid testing.

  • Age:

    1920's or 30's

  • Condition:

    Excellent vintage condition. As mention above, this was converted from a stick pin, and the point of attachment of the pin can be seen on the back side, at the top of the dog's head.
