Atelier Borgila (1920-present) was founded in 1920 by Erik Fleming; he was joined by his son Lars Peter Eriksson Fleming in 1953. In 1943 Erik Fleming arrange the first exhibition of modern jewelry in Sweden, introducing many of the artists such as Sigurd Persson who became well-known after the war. Many renowned silversmiths worked and designed for Atelier Borgila including Rey Urban, Cleas Giertta, Birger Haglund, Sigurd Persson, and Stig Engelbert.
This stunning brooch was designed by Mic Neugel for Atelier Borgila and features luminous transparent purple enamel with engraved lines below.
