This luminous necklace and earrings by David-Andersen features concave gilt silver links with transparent white enamel with radiating guilloche patterns. The transparent enamel is pearlescent, and has the same marvelous quality of reflecting light onto the face as pearls.

David-Andersen is a venerable Norwegian firm founded in 1878. The firm has stayed in the Andersen family for many generations and has been producing enamel jewelry since the late 19th century. This set was designed by Willy Winnaess (1911-2002), a Norwegian designer based in Oslo who designed both independently and for David-Andersen. Many of the mid-20th century designs that David-Andersen is known for, including their enamelled leaves, quatrefoils, and this design were designed by Winnaess.
