Product Info
18 karat yellow gold and icy platinum are braided together in this classic ring by Henry Dunay. To make it even better, a row of three diamonds enhances the top.
Henry Dunay (1935-2023) is one of the great American jewelry designers and goldsmiths of the 20th century. His designs tend to be large scale and bold, and bear a resemblance to those of David Webb who Dunay acknowledged as his favorite contemporary designer.
At age 14 Dunay became an apprentice to a master jeweler in New York City and at 21 opened his own business. Early in his career he produced work for Harry Winston and in the mid-1960’s started producing his own designs, culminating with winning the De Beers Diamonds International Award in 1967, which put him on the map as a major designer. He went on to win this prestigious award four times, along with numerous other design awards.
