This gold and pearl ring by Hans Hansen is modernist jewelry at its most elegant and sculptural. In it, a cluster of seven pearls sits within a circular frame of gold, perched above a circular shank of the same width.

Hans Hansen was a Danish workshop founded by Hans Hansen in 1906 and carried on by his son Karl Gustav Hansen (1914-2002) in 1940. In 1992 the firm merged with the Georg Jensen silversmithy.
