Modernist jewelry is centered on the jewelry produced in the mid-20th by studio jewelers and artist jewelers. However, jewelry that falls under the Modernist banner continued to be produced in the 1960's, 70's, and later - some by hippies working the craft show circuit; some by studio jewelers that began their careers a couple of decades earlier and continued to work in the style; and others who came to it later, but work in the style.
