Jane Adam is a renowned British jewelry designer known for her technical innovation and experimentation, which can be seen in this aluminum cuff where the anodizing is rendered like an abstract painting.

Adams has a degree in design from Manchester Polytechnic and received an MA in metalwork and jewelry from the Royal College of Art in 1985, after which she set up her studio in London. Her work is in the collections of museums around the world including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York. In addition, she is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
