These sleek modernist clip-on earrings by Enrique Ledesma (? - 1979) have reddish/brown jasper set in sterling silver. Ledesma studied painting and sculpture and worked for William Spratling, Hector Aguilar, and Los Castillo prior to opening his own studio around 1950. He is known for his excellent workmanship and modernist designs.

Just as he trained with three of the best first-generation Mexican jewelry designers, later in his career the renowned second-generation jeweler Erika Hult de Corral worked for him prior to opening her own studio.
