This divine enameled butterfly brooch by Norwegian designer Hroar Prydz has exquisite detailing. Beneath transparent white, brown, black, and green enamel the silver is embossed with patterns mimicking the texture of butterfly wings. The exposed silver is gold plated, adding richness to the appearance of the brooch.

Hroar Prydz (1859-1937) was a Norwegian jewelry designer known for enamel jewelry. After he died his company was taken over by Hans Myhre until 1965.
