Product Info
Hector Aguilar (1905-1986) is one of the masters of mid-20th century Mexican jewelry. He began his jewelry career as manager for William Spratling’ workshop from 1937-1939. In 1939 he established his own workshop, the Taller Borda, in an 18th century building on the zocalo in Taxco which remained open until 1962.
Aguilar's mastery can be seen in this sleek bracelet which has two links with open ovals filled with silver balls. The bracelet has its original pin clasp, with the pin attached to a chain that also serves as a safety chain.
