This rutilated quartz ring by Kupittaan Kulta is sleek and elegant. Designer Ellis Kauppi frequently uses the functional parts of a piece of jewelry as decorative elements and here he uses the arched setting of the stone to lift it above the hand and hold the stone at the ends.

Founded in 1945 by silversmith Ellis Kauppi, Kupittaan Kulta is one of the major manufacturers of modernist jewelry in Finland and Kauppi a major designer.
