Two concave rectangles with softened ends are joined by chains in these sleek cufflinks by Kupitaan Kulta. One characteristic of Kupitaan Kulta's designs is their use of functional parts of the jewelry as design elements, in this case the chain that connects the two sides of each cufflink, and the oversized holes through which it passes.

Founded in 1945 by silversmith Elis Kauppi, Kupittaan Kulta is one of the major manufacturers of modernist jewelry in Finland, and Kauppi an important designer.

    Each side of the cufflink is 13/16" long x 3/8" wide. There is 3/4" between the two sides of each cufflink.
