This "Flame Bronze" pendant necklace by Lapponia has a gorgeous blue patina with hints of purple in the recesses. Designed by Lapponia's lead designer, Bjorn Weckstrom, in the 1970's these pieces are getting harder to find with their patina intact. The pendant comes on its original chain with matching patina and has Lapponia's unique slide which allows its length to be adjusted.

Founded in 1960 in Finland, Lapponia is known for their sculptural modernist jewelry and Bjorn Weckstrom is one of the most important jewelry designers of the second half of the 20th century. He is a sculptor who looks upon jewelry as "miniature sculpture with the human body in the background".
