This bracelet has a modernist vibe, but its form is actually based on an ancient Roman type of bracelet, with paired hammered domes marching around the wrist. My second photo shows the bracelet photographed on top of a page from Greek and Roman Jewellery by Reynold Higgins, and you an see how remarkably similar bracelet this bracelet is to the top bracelet in the photo which is dated 27 BC - 250 AD.
