This elegant swagged necklace by Volmer Bahner features transparent white enamel on a gilt sterling silver base, with radiating lines enhancing the enamel. The transparent enamel has a pearlescent quality that, like pearls, lights up the face. Volmer Bahner (1912-1995) was a Danish silversmith known for his enamel jewelry.
